A term deposit* is where you agree to keep funds on deposit with us for a certain amount of time and we agree to pay you interest at a fixed rate. The advantage is certainty - you know that the interest rate will not vary during that time. You will also generally get a better interest rate on a term deposit.

We offer term deposits from 1 month through to three years with interest payable on maturity, annually or even monthly on some accounts.
