Flexible start date

Our Rate Lock feature is available for new fixed rate home loan and investment property loan applications and can be applied at any time prior to loan settlement.

Rate Lock FAQs

How do I apply for the Rate Lock feature?

You can apply for the Rate Lock feature when you submit your home loan application. Just let your Home Loan Specialist know you’re interested in locking in the current rate.

If you don’t finalise your loan in 90 days your Rate Lock ends. You can request a new Rate Lock which will be based on the current interest rate, not the rate when you first locked in. If your Rate Lock ends and you set up a new Rate Lock you will charged another Rate Lock fee.

Yes – however the $400 Rate Lock fee is not refundable.
